This session will assist teachers in being able to evaluate the use of digital literacy in their classrooms. The term digital literacy may be interpreted in a variety of ways, but in this session we will focus on two areas:
  1. the ability to find, evaluate, and utilize information using online resources and tools
  2. the ability to use technology to share information in a world that emphasizes collaboration and interactive communication in both the personal sphere and the workplace.


The participants will identify resources and strategies to improve digital literacy.

After this session, participants will be able to

  2. recognize digital literacy in the classroom
  3. identify appropriate resources and tools to promote and improve digital literacy
